South Africa and Komodo Dive Trips – Social Information Evening – Scuba Buddies Brisbane – Brisbane 7th July 2014
I am off tomorrow to join the Brisbane Scuba Buddies at the Wynnum Manley Workers Club. They are meeting at 5.30pm-10pm for a social evening of show and tell, information about diving photography and equipment, technical diving and up coming dive trips and possibilities.
John Davis and Fern Perry of Lutwala Dive, are planning to take a dive trip to Gili, Indonesia in December and South Africa in 2015 and so this will be a teaser for anyone interested in joining then. He will be showing his photo gallery of diving in Komodo in July 2013, a trip I did with him.
I will also be there as marine Biologist/Expert and Dive Naturalist, on behalf of DiveCareDare to answer any questions divers may have. I will also have videos of the Mozambique and South African dive locations being featured in JD and Fern’s awesome Africa Dive Safaris, taken on a famil in 2011 with Fern Perry and Nomad Africa Adventure Tours.
There are door prizes from Adreno including a free dive, and a Technical Instructor will be there with a rebreather.
The venue’s Bistro is open from 5.50pm to 8pm, and coffee, tea and full bar facilities will be available.
It is sure to be a great evening, so come along and join us. Check out the web site for more information and book your spot.
Here is a link to a great article of mine just published by TravelThereNext.com – “Diving in Komodo National Park Flores, Indonesia“. It includes some great photos and a fabulous three minute video of diving the underwater world of Flores. Some spectacular footage to view.
I had many fantastic experiences whilst diving in Indonesia in 2013, one of which was spending two weeks on a live aboard in the Komodo National Park with the Bajo Dive Club.
I hope this article captures just a few of them.
